Story of 3 Rings

The first ring that I ever received in my life from a man... is a piece of One ringgit fold into a ring shape and it's my first ring when he proposed to me and I said 'yes' to him without second consideration. The ring is not just simple paper folded ring yet it must always stay away from water and fire. But my mind keeps telling me this, a good marriage is not about how much is it of an engagement ring but it's all about how much a man loves you... I didn't put it on my finger but I keep it in my wallet and imagined that I'm wearing it... I'M ENGAGED AND I FOUND MY MATE!

The second ring from him to me is a cracked plastic ring. It used to be his ring when he's teenager but now he left it on the table and no longer wearing it. And there's a day while we both doing nothing on the bed during the weekend. He asked me to wear it if I do really wish to have an engagement ring because at that moment, he couldn't afford to buy me real diamond ring. And again, without thinking that much, I put the ring myself although it's not a gold ring neither silver ring, and it just makes me look so not fashionable at all. But still... I wear it and feel happy and sweet when each time look at it because it reminds me THERE'S A LOVELY GUY ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME!

The third ring is the most expensive thing I had ever received. One day, we just had a walk in a shopping center. He saw a diamond from the display of a jewelry shop. He brought me into the shop and he started to choose a diamond. At the end, he decided to buy one for me to replace the cracked one that I wear all the time... I will never forget that moment! It's an unforgettable moment to me! "I DON'T CARE! NOW I REALLY BUY YOU A RING AND YOU DIE DIE MUST BE MY WIFE!" Not a sweet word but it melted my heart with sweetness and happiness...

And then, he wrote me this:

You accepted me from nothing (one Ringgit), shows me yourselves heart is pure. Yet you proudly say that you are mine and wear my cracked plastic ring, shows me you are sincere and accept me totally. I give you this ring today even though the diamond is flawed, I want you to know I'm not perfect either. I want you to have this ring because you deserve it and I love you totally and you asked me if anything is forever. Actually a diamond will last forever because it is so hard and it cannot decompose over time and I hope our live will be too forever.

This is the story of my first three rings from the same man. Simple... But unforgettable....

The Unforgettable White Valentine's Day

It's a meaningful and unforgettable white valentine's day to me. I'm glad to announce to everyone I'm no longer listed as available. Hahaha... He just bought me a ring and I'm going to engage~~~

Everything seems like a dream since the day I met him. If this is really a dream, I would rather not to get awake... That's nothing about the ring but the sincerity of him. I'm truly feel the love from him and my feeling tells me that he's the one.

He said, I demand nothing, that's why I deserve everything from him.

Life is great and beautiful when you finally meet your soul-mate with loves, respects, understanding and supports! Ain't easy to meet someone who really willing to share his happiness and sadness with you and let you walk into his life. I'm a lucky girl... because I found it! I found him in my life =)

I can still remember clearly how he put the ring on my finger. My heart was melting with sweetness and happiness at that moment. And then he pointed his finger to me and said, 'I don't care that anymore... I already bought you this ring and you gotta be my wife.'

This ring looks much more better huh... wuahahaha....

Met my ex just now. And I really get over with had happened into my life. Without the past, there wouldn't have a brand new me.

I appreciate everything that had happened to me because all of those memories make me grow... grow a lots...

Currently... I enjoy every single minute of my life and I finally realize that being happy is just that easy and simple...

To all my ex... really thanks for everything... without you guys... I will never meet my Mr.Right... and I'm really happy right now in this moment...

Oh... My Simple Valentine's Day

I had a super duper normal valentine's celebration this year!!! =.='

I think I got no faith in celebrating Valentine's day with my love one as I still remembered the Velentine's day of 2009, I need to fly to Bali to attend a wedding party as I customize the wedding gown and evening gown for the bride. Last year, the Valentine's day was crashed with the Chinese New Year celebration so I gotta spend my Valentine's day with my friends and family in Ipoh... and this year... I need to work as pianist for Rendezvous restaurant... ><

Anyway, this is still considered as a meaningful Valentine's day to me as the main purpose of my performance there is to help someone to propose to his girlfriend during the Valentine's dinner... sounds pretty romantic huh... How I wish I'm the lucky girl... ><

Thanks to the owners of Rendezvous restaurant, Rita and her husband! They invited me and Danny to stay back and treated us the Valentine's meal for FREE!!! Hohoho~~~ I will always never say NO to delicious food especially the valentine's meal of that day cost more than RM150... hahaha! Sorry to say that currently I'm kinda stingy... since there's a free meal for me.... of cause I would like to stay and enjoy it...

hmm.... someone got free meal and didn't need to spend money for his girlfriend during Valentine's dinner....

Highly recommended the dessert over here... not sweet at all... it's just nice and smooth!!! SUPER DELICIOUS!!!

This restaurant was filled up with love in every single corner on that day... In fact, the owner of this restaurant are a lovely couple, too!!!

Ya... It's definitely a super duper normal and simple Valentine's day to me this year! But yet, I still feel happy because I celebrated this special day with someone special...

P/S: The guy proposed successfully to his girlfriend >< I felt so happy for them...

You know when you have found your prince or princess because you not only have a smile on your face but in your heart as well...

Grandma and me

While every time I look at my dad and my grandma, I'm wondering there's still got how many year that I can spend my time with them together. The more I grow up, the lesser time i spend with them. We can't manage to see each other so that often since I start my new life in Penang after graduated. With my busy and tight schedule of working, guess I only visit them not more than 3 times a year. I feel so sorry to them while I'm writing this blog and it reminds me how I put myself at the most important place instead of them.

I skipped the Chinese New Year Reunion dinner of last year. Meanwhiles, my grandma never see her beloved granddaughter for 2 years. I just realize myself didn't even make her a call to send her my regards neither to let her know how's my life in Penang. I feel shame to myself as I'm such a useless granddaughter to her.

Finally, me and sister visited my grandma and attended the reunion dinner this year.

First thing that my grandma said to us when she saw us is, 'I can't believe you both come and visit me... I feel so happy to see you both again. I miss you both a lots...'

And I was speechless at that moment. Sorry grandma... I'm really sorry about it... I can't even find any excuse for myself to comfort her that why I never do my part well of being a granddaughter and visit her, not even once...

But now I know and understand... I will never let it happened again...

It doesn't need to wait until Chinese New Year then we only can fix our time out to meet our family. Reunion dinner is just a word without meaning to me if you never take your family important in your life. They raise you up since you are a baby who doesn't know to speak or walk. Without them, you are not gonna to have the chance to enjoy your life like now! It's never too late to start showing your caring to your family... and I'm now start planning the next trip back to Ipoh to visit my grandma and my dad! =)

North to South Trip @ "WHILE WE MEET TOGETHER"

It's always fun and great to catch up with my old lovely best friends during Chinese New Year. Eventhough we seldom meet each other or call each other and busy with our own life but there's something so called fate that bring us together and make our friendship last for 9 years.

While we were still young, we used to organise our reunion gathering at club or pub, order few buckets of beer, sing and dance together. We did enjoy, but we didn't really communicate so much as the environment is noisy for us to talk. To me, that's not really called reunion gathering but it's just a party night out.

Thanks god as we grow older and older, those 'too happening' place is no longer become the place we choose to hang out. In fact, we try our best to explore more nicer place in Ipoh to held our gathering but at the end, The Browns Cafe will always become the final destination where we go to have our drinks due to the reason that other places are full of people and out of seats during Chinese New Year.

Anyway, it's not a big deal for us to go back to the same old place every year to have our gathering as long as long as we meet each other. Even there's no expensive wine or delicious meal, there's always full of happiness and laugh in between us.

Time flies really fast but the gathering seems like bringing us back to the secondary school time as we were still wearing the little light blue school uniform. Sitting at the canteen there and bull shit around. We chit chat about life, about love, about sex, about dreams, about anything and everything. No secret hide from each other. Except Sook Yin... hehe... she still don't want to show us who's her boyfriend... and all of us are still having the question mark in our mind right now... hahaha...

It's a bit imperfect that Lee Yee, Lee Yng, Li Yin and Syiao Pey unable to show up tonight. But I believe that there's still a lot of chances to have a gathering like this... as long as we put each other in our heart and mind.

I feel happy seeing all my friends finally stable down in their life. Found someone who really treat them good, doing things that they enjoy doing it. We see changes and improvement in each other while everytime we meet. We share our sadness with tears and happiness with laugh. Giving support and advise to each other towards our dreams. Ain't easy to maintain a friendship, but we feel proud that we made it!
Feeling good to spend my precious time with my friends tonight. Four simple words from me to my dearest old best friends, 'I LOVE YOU ALL...' :)

The Most Important Woman in My Life

The most important woman in my life

16th of November, it’s my beloved Mother’s Birthday. And finally, I willing to take a leave off from my busy schedule and went to KL and celebrate her birthday together with my sister.

My mom is the toughest woman that I ever meet. She stopped her study after standard 6. She is not well-educated; she couldn't speak fluent English or Malay. Sometimes, her ignorance even mess up her life. But she never ever throws in the towel towards her life.

My mom gave birth to me when she was 19 years old. She thought she had found her happiness life with my father but unfortunately it was an unsuccessful marriage. Just like the others, she had been searching for love for few times but unluckily, she failed and now… she no longer believes in love towards men.

Words that my mom tattoo herself on her fingers: "HATE" and "ENDURE"

She always tells me and my sister stories about our birth. She told me how important we are to her. We are the foundation of her joy, strength, peace and love. My sister and I had become the most important people and the motivation of life to her. And we both also know that, she is the most important person in our heart, too.

I can’t really express how I feel about her in just words. My mom is not my whole life, but she is a really big part of it. My whole world does not only revolve around her, but she is the most influential person who inspires me. My mom is not just another woman. She is extraordinary.

She always tried her best to give us a better life. Her actions have definitely made my life more positive and productive. Had it not been for my mom, I would not be in college making something out of my life. I still remember that, from the day I decided to study fashion design after SPM. None of family members or relatives supported me except my mom. She worked hard to gain the college fees for me. When I finally earned my diploma, it would be because of my mom.

When I need a sewing machine, she bought me one.

When I get a driving license, she bought me a motor and car.

When she knows I’m tired of my work, she makes me lovely soup.

When she knows I start feeling not well, she makes me herbal tea.

Whatever I need, she always gives me.

Without her, I don’t have a chance to learn piano and organ.

Without her, I can’t be a fashion designer.

Without her, I wouldn’t be who am I nowadays…

She might not be the smartest woman.

But at least she taught me the meaning of love…...

I know I'm the one my mom worries the most compare to my younger sister due to I'm still naive most of the time. Hardly ask her not to worry so much because sometimes I even agree with what people said about me that I have a bad arrangement of my life... I never ever make a promise to her that how am I going to improve myself and not to make her worry. Because I don't want to brake a promise. But I will show her. One day, she will realize, her daughter finally has grown up and learn to protect herself... and no longer make her feel worry...

My 5 years old student told me this when I were teaching her music, "I practice my song automatically everyday, I finish my homework before I go to sleep because I don't want my mom worry about me, and I want to make my mom feels proud of me."

While a 5 years old kid knew how to say this out... and I think I'm old enough to show my mom, SHE DOESN'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT ME ANYMORE... AND I WILL MAKE HER FEEL PROUD OF ME =)
