Strawberry Moment

I've been to a cafe called Strawberry Moment few times in Ipoh and it never disappointed me before. Everything is about strawberry in this cafe. Strawberry cake, strawberry drinks, strawberry dessert... It only has 2 branches in Malaysia. One in Cameron and another one in Ipoh.

Each of the desserts is made with strawberry...

I would like to rate this cafe with 5 stars. They provided a good service to their customer. I accidentally dropped my glass of juice and the waiter there change me another new one immediately without my request. ^^ This is just so impressed me...

The Beauty of The Sky

I like seeing the beauty of the sky...

Whenever I feel tired, I look up into the sky, it always surprise me!

I like seeing the sunlights from the sky, just like seeing the bright side of my life.

This is one of the beautiful sky view that I saw while I on my way back to my hometown. Without considering that much, I snapped it down immediately. It peaces my mind at that moment... What a beautiful sky...

Sky, it is the hope and enlightenment for millions of people everyday. How many times did you look at the sky in order to find some hope and relief for your ever day problems. Many of us are not conscious of the impact of the sky on our everyday lives. If there are clouds in the sky, most of us will feel cloudy, if the Sun is shining bright and sky is blue and clear, it will amuse us and make us feel better.

The sky is often a place of solace where, when we got no where to turn to... we look up and wish... wish for something, wish for a turn of events that will change our lives.

I know that we do have problem in our life. But there must be some beautiful thing that gets us going. Sometimes its open and obvious and sometimes, we miss to see it. But it's there!

Try to slow down your speed and enjoy the beauty of the nature.

I've learnt to relax more. Going away for a little bit made me realize how stressed I was, and so now I'm taking a bit more care to get a little me-time, and not get so worried about things.

Indulgence Ipoh

Whenever my friend ask me where to get a nice cafe to hang out in Ipoh. The first place that I always suggest is Indulgence! Yes, the most exclusive, one kind of restaurant in Ipoh.

It is an award winning dining establishment, won several Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards for Excellence.

The desserts here are not bad!

The service is good here. Waiters and waitresses are always bustling around making easier if you need to make your order.

People from the other states might think that Ipohnites are known as wise-spenders, in the words, it means kiam siap! Well, I gotta re-correct this words... Ipohnites know to enjoy their life though Ipoh is just a small town =) Because I'm one of the Ipohnites!!!

The Secret of Lorong Kulit

Penang is a great place to stay. You can simply experience different type of cultures over here. And today, I and Chewwis had explored another interesting place in Penang and it’s called ‘Lorong Kulit’…

I went to Lorong Kulit with Chewwis yesterday after teaching music. I have been staying in Penang for 7 years and heard people mentioned the name of 'Lorong Kulit' several times. However, I never ever make myself free before to visit this place… Finally, I made it today!

Lorong Kulit is a flea market. From the research through internet that I had just done, I know that the Lorong Kulit flea market had its humble beginnings in late 1992 when the municipal council cleared out the second hand goods dealers from Rope Walk, located off Penang Road in the town centre, where they had been trading by the roadside since the 1970s.

You can find out lots of funny old things over there such as electric stuff, watches, shoes, second-hand goods, antique, dvd and mobiles, too. Well, I have to admit myself that I’m not good in bargaining. So, I didn’t actually buy anything from there but just had a ‘window-shopping’

My mother did tell me something about Lorong Kulit before while I was in college time, ‘If your thing get stolen, you might be able to find it back at Lorong Kulit because it has a reputation of being a thieves market.’

Whether it is true or not about the saying of ‘Thieves Market’ but it is just a fun place that you should go and take a look and experience it.

For your information, the flea market is open from 8am to 2pm every day except when it rains. I’m here to suggest you that it’s better to visit the market during Sunday because there are more stalls and stuff to see. And another thing that I need to mention is… bring along a friend who is good in bargaining if you don’t know how to bargain with the dealer. Or not, you will get buried and cheated! >.<

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

I have to admit that Penang is not the only place where can find nice place to chill but for the past few days I've been staying in KL, some cafe here has impressed me with their environment, food and drinks. =)

Levain is one of my favorite place to hang out in KL...

Levain is a lovely French-style bakery cafe. There's a section for selling breads and pastries which is baked using natural yeast, in a tradional stone oven.

You can just simply find a lot of different breads in Levain.

I forgot the name of this bread but I can still remember the taste of it... absolutely delicious!

MY TRIPLE SHOT CHOCOLATE! Satisfied with this drink as I can fully taste the choco favor inside my mouth! not that really exepnsive though... only cost me RM9.50 ( cheaper than Starbucks >< )
